After many years, the Nipponzan Myohoji order of Buddhist monks and the Ground Zero Center for Nonviolent Action have completed the construction of a peace pagoda on the center’s ground, immediately adjacent to the Kitsap-Bangor base, one of the largest concentrations of nuclear weapons on earth.
