In honor of the late anti-nuclear weapons advocate Dr. David Hall, Washington Physicians for Social Responsibility and the American Friends Committee of the World Friendship Center organized a two and a half month program designed to bring young and emerging leaders into the movement against nuclear weapons.
Six participants were recruited from a diverse pool of candidates, educated on the history of nuclear weapons and the anti-nuke movement, and sponsored on a one week trip to Hiroshima for the 80th anniversary of the atomic bombing in August 2025.
